Urgent Action Needed
ENTIRE FAMILIES OF STREET DOGS BEING SHOT TO DEATH
IN ONE OF THE WEALTHIEST COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD.
Please help by signing the petition below.
Dear Friend of 600,

Jinny, an elderly Golden Retriever, was shot to death in her own neighborhood.

Her guardian then found video footage of the killing (from a security camera) and cried as she described the horror of watching her elderly canine companion struggle in vain to run away in terror, from her killers.

Residents report that Jinny was then thrown into a trash compactor and crushed ... and that sickeningly, she was not alone.

It is reported that in this one incident alone, up to 25 helpless dogs were crushed … some still alive.

X-ray of stray dog with bullet embedded in the chest.

Veterinary medical reports and hundreds of horrifying photos -- too horrific to show here -- are readily available, many on Instagram, including photos of half-buried bodies of dead pups scattered on the ground, with eyewitness reports of mother dogs being shot while nursing their puppies.

Witnesses report that this horrific abuse is happening now, in the Kingdom of Bahrain, an oil-rich country in the Middle East, near Saudi Arabia.

One of many dogs shot.

Local activists have tried to stop this but fear for their lives, and for good reason. According to Amnesty International and Wikipedia:

"Amnesty International's 2015 report on the country points to the continued suppression of dissent, restricted freedom of expression, unjust imprisonment, and frequent torture and other ill-treatment of its citizens." - Wikipedia

Despite the danger, a few brave individuals have filed complaints with the police, but they also report that authorities thus far have done virtually nothing to stop the abuse.

Please help by signing this petition to Bahrain's Ambassador to the USA.

Thank you.
